Renewal Startup Check List

  1. Deactivate your online registration until you have an updated teacher list.
  2. Delete the student accounts that have graduated. Don't worry, last years trip data will still be there, this step just removes them from the current year classrooms.
  3. Decide how you will implement the Teacher/Classroom updates.
    • * Small Schools with only one teacher per grade you can update all the students through the web site.
    • * Set the "Needs New Teacher" flag. With this set the students first scan of the year you are prompted to updated the students new teacher.
  4. Reset student counts. Change the program "Start Date" and "End Date" in Settings >> General When you change these dates the total distance and trips are recalculated for that date range. "Lifetime" trip counts are not changed but the "School Year" and "Contest Counts" are set back to 0.
  5. If you reset Monkey Money to $0 each year
  6. Update your Online Registration.
